Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The Dolomite Chandelier is built from an iron frame with individually cast ceramic discs. The iron is finished in chrome or white; the ceramic faces are unglazed to allow warm light diffusion.

How do I install this fixture?

The chandelier installs via a standard ceiling junction box using the included canopy and hardware. Most electricians can complete the installation in under an hour. Full instructions are included in the box.

Is the height adjustable?

Yes. The wire drop is adjustable up to 1.2m (3.9ft), allowing you to set the hanging height to suit your ceiling and the room below.

How long do the LEDs last?

The included E14 LED bulb is rated for 50,000 hours of use. At 8 hours per day, that is approximately 17 years before a replacement is needed.

What voltage does it support?

The Dolomite Chandelier operates on 90–260VAC, making it compatible with electrical systems in North America, Europe, Australia, and most other regions.

Is the paint non-toxic?

Yes. The finishes used on the iron frame are non-toxic and meet standard residential safety requirements. The ceramic discs are unfinished and contain no paint.

Can it be mounted on a wall?

No — the Dolomite Chandelier is designed for ceiling installation only. It requires a standard ceiling junction box and is not configured for wall mounting.

Is it temperature and fade resistant?

Yes. The ceramic discs are fired and stable, while the iron frame's chrome or white finish is heat-treated for durability. Neither material fades under normal indoor lighting conditions.

Does it come with all necessary mounting hardware?

Yes — the chandelier ships with the canopy, wire, mounting bracket, and all screws required for installation. The E14 LED bulb is also included.

How do I turn it on?

The Dolomite Chandelier connects to your existing wall switch via standard wiring. It is not dimmable. Simply wire it in and use your wall switch to control it.
