Installation Guide

Most wall lamps are a simple bracket-and-wire job — but check your power type first, since hardwired, plug-in, and rechargeable models each install a little differently.

Before you begin

  • Dimming — most socketed lamps dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Power — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable depending on the model; check your product details
  • Mounting — wall-mount, hardware included
  • Indoor/outdoor — confirm your model is rated for outdoor use before installing outside

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver
  • Wire nuts (included for hardwired models)
  • Voltage tester
  • Power drill (for new mounting locations)

Step by step

  1. Identify your power type — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable. Follow the steps below for yours.
  2. If hardwired: turn off the power — switch off at your main electrical panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  3. If hardwired: remove the old lamp — unscrew it and disconnect the wires by removing the wire nuts.
  4. If hardwired: attach the new mounting bracket — align it with your junction box or marked wall location and secure with the included screws.
  5. If hardwired: connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Twist and secure with wire nuts, then tuck neatly into the junction box.
  6. If hardwired: mount the fixture — align with the bracket and secure with the provided screws.
  7. If hardwired: install the bulb — correct type and wattage, if your model uses one.
  8. If hardwired: restore power and test.
  9. If plug-in: mount the bracket — with anchors or screws, then attach the fixture and plug it into a nearby outlet. Route the cord neatly.
  10. If rechargeable: mount the bracket — with screws and anchors, fully charge the lamp with the included cable, then install it onto the bracket and power on.

An iron frame holds the form; an acrylic panel sits in front of the LED to diffuse the light evenly. Both are chosen for longevity — the finish resists temperature change and colour fade.

Does this fixture come with a warranty?

Yes — one year as standard, with extended options (2, 3, or 5 years) available. Contact us to arrange extended cover at the time of purchase.

How energy-efficient is this product?

The integrated LED uses 16W or 32W depending on size — significantly less than equivalent incandescent output. The 50,000-hour lifespan also means fewer replacements over time.

What type of lighting does it provide?

Diffused ambient light — even and glare-free across the full panel. Three modes (warm, neutral, cool white) let you adjust the character of the light to the room.

Is it compatible with dimmer switches?

Yes, on request — specify dimming when you order and we'll configure the fixture. Standard installation is non-dimming unless requested.

No — it's rated for indoor use only. The iron and acrylic are not sealed against moisture; outdoor conditions would degrade the finish and the electrical components.
