Installation Guide

Most wall lamps are a simple bracket-and-wire job — but check your power type first, since hardwired, plug-in, and rechargeable models each install a little differently.

Before you begin

Dimming — most socketed lamps dim; integrated-LED models don't
Power — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable depending on the model; check your product details
Mounting — wall-mount, hardware included
Indoor/outdoor — confirm your model is rated for outdoor use before installing outside

What you'll need

Screwdriver
Wire nuts (included for hardwired models)
Voltage tester
Power drill (for new mounting locations)

Step by step

Identify your power type — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable. Follow the steps below for yours.
If hardwired: turn off the power — switch off at your main electrical panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
If hardwired: remove the old lamp — unscrew it and disconnect the wires by removing the wire nuts.
If hardwired: attach the new mounting bracket — align it with your junction box or marked wall location and secure with the included screws.
If hardwired: connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Twist and secure with wire nuts, then tuck neatly into the junction box.
If hardwired: mount the fixture — align with the bracket and secure with the provided screws.
If hardwired: install the bulb — correct type and wattage, if your model uses one.
If hardwired: restore power and test.
If plug-in: mount the bracket — with anchors or screws, then attach the fixture and plug it into a nearby outlet. Route the cord neatly.
If rechargeable: mount the bracket — with screws and anchors, fully charge the lamp with the included cable, then install it onto the bracket and power on.

The glass bowl is deep enough to hold the entire LED source, so nothing emits directly toward the eye. Light passes through the glass walls and disperses in a wide, even arc across the surrounding wall. The iron bracket sits flat to the surface — the bowl reads as the feature, the bracket almost disappears.

How long is the LED lifespan?

The integrated LED is rated at 50,000 hours — roughly 17 years at eight hours of use per day, with no replacements needed.

Is professional installation recommended?

Yes. The lamp hardwires to mains. A certified electrician is recommended to ensure safe connection and secure wall mounting.

Can it be used in damp areas like bathrooms?

The Intortus is not rated for wet or damp environments. It is suitable for dry interior spaces — living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and entryways.

What is the return policy?

Nava offers a 14-day return window from delivery. Items must be in original condition and packaging. Contact us within that period to initiate a return.

How energy-efficient is it?

At 7W and 770 lumens, the Intortus produces good ambient output for its draw — comparable to a 60W incandescent for roughly a tenth of the energy.

Are replacement parts available?

The LED is integrated and not field-replaceable, but the glass shade can be sourced separately if needed. Contact us and we'll assist.

Does it come with all necessary mounting hardware?

Yes. The lamp ships with the mounting bracket, canopy, and all fasteners needed for a standard wall installation.

Is the lighting adjustable or dimmable?

No. The Intortus is a fixed-output fixture. For dimming, please contact us before ordering as configured dimming may be available on request.
