Step by step

  1. Unpack and inspect — check for damage or missing parts. If your model has a detachable shade or base, assemble per the included instructions.
  2. Choose a location — flat, stable surface where it won't be knocked over. For outdoor use, keep it dry and level, and away from water unless the lamp is explicitly water-resistant.
  3. Connect the power source — plug corded models into a nearby (weather-protected, if outdoors) outlet; insert batteries into the compartment for battery-powered models; position solar panels in direct sunlight for the initial charge.
  4. Install or check the bulb — screw it in gently and don't exceed the socket's max wattage. Integrated LED models skip this step.
  5. Turn on and adjust — use the switch, touch sensor, or remote to power it on, and adjust brightness or modes if your model supports it. Solar or motion-activated lamps may need a full charge cycle first.

Is the lamp easy to install?

Yes — it plugs into a standard wall socket. No wiring or ceiling work required. Place it on any flat surface, plug in, and it is ready to use.

What materials are used in the lamp's construction?

The base is iron with a chrome mirror finish. The shade is pressed glass — glossy on the exterior, with the colour applied to the glass itself. An E27 LED bulb is included and replaceable.

How does the lamp turn on and off?

Via the wall socket switch or an inline cord switch — the lamp does not have a separate on/off mechanism on the base. The fixture is corded only; there is no internal battery.

What is the lifespan of the LED lights?

The E27 LED bulb is rated at 50,000 hours. At 6 hours of daily use, that is over 22 years before the bulb needs replacing — and as a standard E27 base, sourcing a replacement is straightforward.

Does the lamp provide even illumination?

Yes. The glossy glass shade diffuses the LED output across the shade surface without creating a bright centre point. Light spreads softly outward and downward from the shade rim.

Is the light emitted soft and non-glaring?

Yes. The glass shade absorbs direct brightness from the bulb and transmits it as a diffused, warm glow — suited to bedside use where a harsh beam would be uncomfortable.

Can the lamp be used on any surface?

No. The Arholma Table Lamp is corded — it operates from a wall plug. There is no internal battery.
