Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Iron bar — the acrylic diffuses the full run

The Weser frame is welded iron with a continuous acrylic diffuser panel along the underside. The diffuser runs edge to edge, so the light reads as one unbroken strip rather than a row of diodes. Two suspension wires drop from canopy to frame at equal points along the bar, keeping the hang level without visible adjustment hardware.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Nava ships free worldwide — delivery is typically 15–21 business days from order confirmation. Tracking is provided once your Weser dispatches from our warehouse.

Is the product compatible with dimmer switches?

Yes, on request — specify at checkout and we configure a dimmable driver before shipping. Not dimmable as standard. Compatible with standard trailing-edge LED dimmers once configured.

How do I install the fixture?

The Weser ceiling-mounts to a standard junction box via the canopy. Two suspension wires drop from the canopy to the bar; the cord adjusts to 2 m. Sloped-ceiling mounting is available on request. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended.

What materials are used in the construction?

The frame is welded iron; the diffuser panel is acrylic. Iron gives the bar its rigidity and weight; acrylic spreads the integrated LED across the full length without visible diodes.

Can the height be adjusted?

Yes — the cord is adjustable to 2 m from the ceiling. For longer drops in very high-ceilinged rooms, contact us before ordering and we will supply an extended cord.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes — Nava includes a 1-year warranty with every Weser, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years on request. Contact us after purchase to add extended cover.

Are the LEDs replaceable?

No — the Weser uses an integrated LED strip sealed into the acrylic diffuser. The LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours under normal use, so replacement should not be needed for many years.

What are the available finishes?

Black, gold, and white — all three share the same iron-and-acrylic construction and tri-colour LED. Choose the finish that works with your ceiling and wall palette.

How energy-efficient is it?

The Weser runs at 20W for 2200 lm across all three lengths — efficient for the output level. The integrated LED has no warm-up time and reaches full brightness instantly.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Wipe the iron frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth; wipe the acrylic diffuser panel with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners, which can scratch the surface. No other maintenance is needed under normal indoor conditions.
