Installation Guide
A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.
Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)
What you'll need
Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
Wire nuts (included), ladder
Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)
Step by step
Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
Power on and test.

For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

We recommend installation by a certified electrician. The Muntin is hardwired to a ceiling junction box — the process is straightforward, but mains wiring should always be handled by a professional.

The Muntin Chandelier uses integrated LEDs rated at 50,000 hours. At 8 hours of use per day, that's over 17 years before the light source needs attention — far more efficient than traditional bulbs.
Is the Muntin Chandelier dimmable?
Yes — the included remote controls both dimming and colour mode. No additional dimmer switch is needed; control is built in.

The suspension cord adjusts up to 1.5m from the ceiling. The canopy is 30cm (1-wave) or 60cm (2-wave) — loosen the cord clamp, set your preferred drop, and secure.
