Installation Guide

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

It's a modern LED flush-mount — the clean, minimal form works in contemporary and transitional interiors but may feel too sleek against ornate historical plasterwork. Best in spaces that already lean modern.

What materials are used in this fixture?

The body is aluminium — lightweight and resistant to corrosion. The diffuser is acrylic, which spreads the LED light evenly across the length of the fixture without visible hotspots.

How energy-efficient is the LED light?

Very — integrated LEDs are rated to 50,000 hours and consume 24–72W depending on size. That's significantly less than equivalent incandescent or halogen sources delivering the same brightness.

Can the light color be adjusted?

Yes — the remote switches between warm white (2700K), cool white (6000K), and a mid-range tri-colour setting, so you can match the colour temperature to the activity and time of day.

Does it come with a remote control?

Yes — the remote is included in the box. It controls both dimming and colour temperature switching without requiring a smart-home hub or separate app.

How long do the LEDs last?

The integrated LEDs are rated to 50,000 hours. At eight hours of daily use, that's more than 17 years before you'd need to consider a replacement — and the fixture is sealed, so there's nothing to change in the meantime.

Is the fixture easy to install?

It mounts to a standard ceiling junction box or wall backplate — hardware for both is included. We recommend a certified electrician for the final wiring connection.

What voltage does this fixture support?

Wide-range 90–260V AC, compatible with 110V and 230V mains. No converter required for use in North America, Europe, the UK, or Australia.
