Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Is the chandelier compatible with standard electrical systems?

Yes — it runs on 90–260V, covering residential electrical standards in North America, Europe, Australia, and most other regions. No transformer or adaptor is needed for standard hardwired ceiling installation.

What materials are used in the construction?

The frame and spike arms are iron, finished in chrome or gold. The LED modules are encased in acrylic at the tip of each arm. Iron construction provides the rigidity needed to hold the 5 kg form securely at ceiling level.

Can it be installed on both ceilings and walls?

It's designed for ceiling installation only, via a hardwired pipe mount. Wall installation is not supported — the radial arm form is designed around a central hanging point, not a flat wall bracket.

How do I switch between the light modes?

The two modes — cool white and warm white — switch via the room's existing wall switch in most configurations. Refer to the installation guide supplied with the fixture for your specific wiring setup.

Is the paint non-toxic and safe for indoor use?

Yes — the finish is non-toxic and passes standard indoor safety certifications including CE and ROHS. It's temperature-resistant and will not emit fumes or odours under normal operating conditions.

How durable is the finish over time?

The chrome and gold finishes are temperature and fade-resistant — formulated to maintain their appearance even with the heat generated by 70W of integrated LEDs over long daily use cycles. No recoating or polishing is needed.

Does it come with all necessary mounting hardware?

Yes — ceiling mount hardware and the pipe support are included. A certified electrician is recommended for the hardwired connection. Note that the cord length is fixed — the form is not adjustable in height.

How energy-efficient are the LED lights?

Integrated LEDs are significantly more efficient than equivalent incandescent or halogen sources. At 70W for 7700 lm across a large fixture, the output-per-watt is strong. Running costs are lower than traditional chandeliers of comparable brightness.

What is the lifespan of the LEDs?

The integrated LEDs are rated at 50,000 hours. In typical residential use — several hours per day — that represents well over a decade before any maintenance is likely needed.
