Installation Guide

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

Good to know

  • Great for standard or low ceilings — hallways, bedrooms, closets.
  • Confirm your junction box can support the fixture's weight.
  • Follow local electrical codes.
  • When in doubt, bring in a licensed electrician.

Alabaster — warm where it thins, deep where it holds

Each panel is cut from real marble — the same alabaster used in sacred architecture for centuries. Light passes through rather than bouncing off, turning a ceiling fixture into something quietly alive. No two pieces carry exactly the same veining.

Innovative engineering. Intelligent design.

Stone glow

The alabaster panels diffuse each bulb into soft, warm light rather than a direct point source.

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials is the Tapia Ceiling Light made from?

The Tapia is built from solid copper and sculpted alabaster marble panels. The copper base holds five organic stone petals — each one individually veined and cut from real marble.

What type of lighting does the Tapia Ceiling Light provide?

Soft, diffused ambient light. The alabaster panels absorb and scatter each bulb's output so the room gets an even, warm glow rather than harsh direct light.

How many bulbs does the Tapia Ceiling Light use?

Five E27 bulbs, one behind each alabaster panel. The total output is 50W (5000 lm), enough to light a mid-sized living room or dining space comfortably.

Is the bulb included with the Tapia Ceiling Light?

Yes — five LED E27 bulbs are included. They are also replaceable, so you can swap them when needed without replacing the fixture.

What is the wattage of the Tapia Ceiling Light?

50W total across five LED bulbs, producing 5000 lm. That delivers comfortable, warm ambient light for most living rooms and dining spaces.

What voltage range does the Tapia Ceiling Light support?

90–260V, so it works on both North American and international wiring without any adapter or transformer required.

In which rooms can I install the Tapia Ceiling Light?

Living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and entryways all suit it well. The soft alabaster glow works best in spaces where warm, ambient light is more valuable than direct task light.

Can the bulbs in the Tapia Ceiling Light be replaced?

Yes — each E27 bulb lifts out and replaces individually. Standard E27 LED bulbs from any hardware store fit the fixture.

Does the Tapia Ceiling Light fit modern interiors?

It fits well in contemporary, organic-modern, and transitional spaces. The natural stone and copper sit comfortably alongside warm woods, linen, and neutral palettes.

What makes the Tapia Ceiling Light unique?

The organic petal arrangement of real alabaster panels — no two are identically veined, so every fixture is one of a kind. The stone diffuses light from within rather than reflecting it off a surface.
