Installation Guide

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

Solid aluminium body and shell, finished in powder-coated black or gold. The aluminium keeps the fixture lightweight (700–800 g) while giving it the rigidity to hold its geometric form over years of ceiling or wall use.

How long is the LED lifespan?

The integrated LED is rated at 50,000+ hours — at 8 hours a day, that's over 17 years. It's sealed into the fixture; no bulb to source or replace. Covered by Nava's 1-year warranty, extendable to 2 or 3 years.

Does it include all necessary mounting hardware?

Yes — ceiling rose hardware and wall-bracket fixings are both included in the box. All four forms can be ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted without purchasing additional parts.

Is the LED light available in different color temperatures?

Warm white and cool white. Specify your preference at checkout — the LED is configured before shipping. Warm white is typically 3000K; cool white is 6000K.

Can it be mounted on both ceiling and wall?

Yes — the included brackets allow both ceiling and wall installation. The fixture ships with hardware for both orientations. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended for hardwired ceiling or wall mounting.

How energy-efficient is the LED technology?
