What wattage options are available?

The Caine is a 7W fixture, outputting 770 lumens. That's a focused, efficient output — appropriate for accent lighting and task areas without over-illuminating the surrounding space.

Does the Caine Downlight come with a bulb included?

Yes — the Bridgelux COB LED is integrated into the fixture and included. There's no separate bulb to source; everything you need for installation is in the box.

What is the operating voltage range?

AC 120–277V, covering residential and light commercial electrical systems across most countries. No transformer or adapter is needed in standard installations.

What does the IP20 rating mean?

IP20 means the fixture is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm — fingers and hands — but is not rated for moisture or water exposure. It's suited for dry indoor rooms, not bathrooms or wet areas.

Can the Caine Downlight be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means it has no water resistance, so it is not suitable for outdoor or damp locations. For covered outdoor use, look for a fixture rated at IP44 or higher.

What beam angle options are available?

Three: 15° for a tight accent spot on artwork or shelving, 24° for general directional illumination, and 36° for a broader wash. Specify your preferred angle at the time of order.

Is the light direction adjustable?

Yes — the cylindrical head pivots smoothly within the trim ring, letting you direct the beam after installation. Once set, it holds position without drifting.

Does the Caine Downlight reduce glare?

The recessed housing naturally reduces glare by pulling the light source back behind the ceiling plane. The narrow to mid-range beam angles further contain the light — the result is a precise output with minimal spill into adjacent areas.

Is installation complicated?

The Caine cuts into a 45 mm hole in the ceiling and hardwires to your mains supply. It's a standard recessed installation — professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended. No canopy or surface plate is needed; the trim ring sits flush.
