Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Iron arms — holding glass in orbit

The Spissatus structure is an iron armature — bent, welded, and gold-finished — with sphere sockets at the end of each arm. The spheres diffuse the bulb output into a soft, even glow rather than a point source, so the whole cluster reads as warmth from across the room rather than a collection of individual lights.

Innovative engineering. Intelligent design.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the shipping timeframe for the Spissatus Chandelier?

Nava ships free worldwide. The Spissatus Chandelier typically arrives in 15–21 business days, with tracking provided once dispatched.

Is professional installation recommended for the Spissatus Chandelier?

Yes — the Spissatus is hardwired and typically weighs 6kg. We recommend a certified electrician for both the wiring connection and ensuring the ceiling support is adequate.

What materials are used in the Spissatus Chandelier?

The frame is iron, gold-finished. The spheres are glass. Bulbs are replaceable LED — standard base, but not included in the box.

Is the height of the Spissatus Chandelier adjustable?

Yes — the cord adjusts up to 1.2 m at the canopy. All configurations share the same H120cm frame depth; the drop adjusts independently.

Does the Spissatus Chandelier come with a remote control?

Remote dimming and colour control is available as an optional configuration — specify at checkout. The app-control version also available on request.

Can the lighting colour be adjusted on the Spissatus Chandelier?

Yes — with the remote option, the Spissatus switches between 3000K warm white and 6000K cool white and all steps between, adjustable from across the room.

How durable is the Spissatus Chandelier?

The iron frame is built for long-term use — corrosion-resistant and stable under the weight of up to 18 glass spheres. The gold finish holds its tone without recoating.

What type of ambiance does the Spissatus Chandelier create?

The sphere cluster casts a warm, layered glow — soft at the perimeter, with depth from the overlapping spheres. At 3000K it reads intimate; at 6000K it reads bright and contemporary.

Is the Spissatus Chandelier suitable for different ceiling heights?

Yes — the 1.2 m adjustable cord and four configurations (10 to 18 heads, different spans) make the Spissatus adaptable to both standard and high-ceilinged rooms.

How does the Spissatus Chandelier enhance the room's decor?

The cluster of gold-framed spheres forms a sculptural centrepiece that holds the eye above the table or in the entryway, and the warm ambient glow it produces ties the room together without a single harsh beam.
