Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Ceiling hung — or wall-mounted flat

The Orgosolo includes brackets for both mounting types. Hung from the ceiling, it reads as a traditional chandelier. Fixed to the wall, it becomes a sconce-style accent — the candelabra arms projecting out from the surface. The electrical connection in both cases is a standard socket plug, so no hardwiring is needed.

Is professional installation required?

For ceiling mounting via the pipe connection, we recommend a certified electrician. For wall mounting via the included plug-in brackets, installation is straightforward enough to do yourself.

The Orgosolo's E14 LEDs are designed to approximate warm candlelight at its warmest setting — the open-arm layout distributes the light outward, filling a room with even, low-glare illumination.

Are the materials used resistant to fading?

Can this fixture be mounted on both ceiling and wall?

Yes — the Orgosolo includes mounting hardware for both. On the ceiling it functions as a chandelier; on the wall it becomes a candelabra-style sconce. Both methods use the included plug socket.

The Orgosolo uses 30W (6 heads) or 40W (8 heads) in LED, delivering 3000–4000 lm — comparable to a traditional incandescent chandelier drawing three to four times that wattage.

What are the available lighting modes?

Three modes: warm white, cool white, and neutral white. Switch between them depending on the time of day or the feel you want — the fixture supports all three through the same bulbs.

How long is the operational lifespan of the LEDs?

The E14 LEDs are rated at 50,000 hours. At 4 hours of daily use, that is over 34 years before a bulb is likely to need replacing — practically set and forget.

What voltage does the fixture support?

What mounting hardware is included in the package?
