Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Is installation hardware included?

Yes — the Leaf Chandelier includes all mounting hardware, junction box for ceiling fitting, and the adjustable wire. A certified electrician is recommended for the final hardwired connection.

How does the chandelier adjust in height?

The ceiling wire adjusts up to 1 m — you set the drop at installation by feeding or gathering the cord through the canopy. No cutting needed; excess cord tucks neatly into the canopy.

What materials are used in construction?

High-quality wrought iron with a matte black finish. The iron is heavy enough to hang with stability and finished to resist corrosion and fading with normal indoor use.

How long do the LEDs last?

The Leaf Chandelier uses standard E27 LED bulbs — rated at approximately 15,000–25,000 hours depending on the bulb you fit. Bulbs are replaceable, so the fixture lasts well beyond any single bulb's life.

Is the light glare-free?

Yes — the arm geometry positions each bulb so it illuminates downward and outward into the room. You see the glow rather than the source, which makes it comfortable to sit under for extended periods.

Can this fixture resist outdoor elements?

The Leaf Chandelier is designed for indoor use — dining rooms, living spaces, bedrooms, and entryways. It is not rated for outdoor or damp conditions.

Is the lighting even and bright?
