Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Circular frames — stacked, not centred

Each ring is an independent frame — offset and overlapping rather than concentric — so the assembled chandelier feels drawn rather than engineered. The acrylic diffuser runs inside each ring, hiding the LED source and producing a clean, continuous band of light. The gold finish warms the effect without gilding it.

The Diorite is hardwired to a ceiling junction box — professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended. All mounting hardware and instructions are included.

What materials are used in its construction?

The frame is gold-finished aluminium and iron, the diffuser is acrylic. All materials are corrosion-resistant and rated for 50,000 hours of continuous LED operation.

How do I adjust the lighting color?

The included remote adjusts both brightness and colour temperature — cycle between warm white, neutral, and cool white without touching the fixture itself.

Is the height adjustable?

Yes — the cord adjusts to a maximum drop of 1.5 m (4.9 ft), and the chandelier is compatible with sloped ceilings for angled installations.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Wipe the aluminium rings and acrylic diffuser with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or moisture near the electrical components. The gold finish is durable and does not require sealing.

Can it be mounted on the wall?

The Diorite is designed as a ceiling chandelier — it is not configured for wall mounting. For a wall application, we recommend browsing our wall sconce range.

What voltage does it operate on?

It runs on 90–260 VAC, covering all standard residential voltages worldwide. No voltage adaptor is required.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No — the Diorite is rated for indoor use only. The electrical components and gold finish are not sealed against moisture or weather exposure.
