Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Each glass flower is individually set into the metal frame — a manufacturing process closer to floristry than standard chandelier assembly. The glass elements catch the R7S LED differently as the viewing angle changes, producing a glow that shifts across the ring's surface. What is the shipping timeframe?

The Dieblich ships free worldwide and arrives in approximately 15–21 business days. A tracking number is sent once the order leaves the warehouse.

Is installation hardware included?

Yes — the Dieblich includes a ceiling canopy, mounting bracket, junction box, suspension cord, and all required hardware. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended.

What is the return policy?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for items in original, undamaged condition. Contact us within that window and we will arrange the return process.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Dust the glass and metal frame with a soft dry cloth. Avoid moisture or abrasive cleaners near the glass or metal elements. For the glass flowers, a soft brush removes dust from the recessed areas.

Is the wire adjustable?

Yes — the suspension cord adjusts to a maximum of 1 m (3.3 ft). Excess cord can be coiled neatly inside the canopy during installation.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes — a 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, extendable to 2 or 3 years on request. Extended coverage is arranged at the time of purchase.

What type of light bulbs are used?

The Dieblich uses an R7S LED bulb — included in the package. R7S is a standard linear base; when the bulb eventually needs replacing, it is widely available in home lighting stores.

How energy-efficient is it?

The R7S LED draws 60W (small), 120W (medium), or 160W (large) while delivering 6000–16000 lm of output — efficient relative to incandescent equivalents at the same brightness level.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No — the Dieblich is rated for indoor use only. The glass and metal are not sealed against moisture or weather exposure.

Will it work with a dimmer switch?

Dimming is available on request — specify this when ordering and the fixture will be configured for compatibility with a standard wall dimmer or inline dimmer control.
