Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The Bouclé's 15 shades each do this independently, building a layered light across the full span of the frame. Nava Decor ships free worldwide. Delivery typically takes 15–21 business days from dispatch. Given the weight of this chandelier (13.5 kg), freight handling may add a day or two at customs — we'll send a tracking number once it ships.

Yes — all hardware and instructions are included. Given the chandelier's weight and the hardwired installation, professional fitting by a certified electrician is strongly recommended.

Is the metal frame rust-resistant?

The metal frame is finished to resist corrosion in standard indoor conditions. It's not rated for outdoor or high-humidity areas — for those environments, an IP-rated fitting would be needed.

How easy is it to clean the alabaster?

Straightforward — alabaster cleans with a lightly damp cloth and dries quickly. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, which can mark the stone surface. Regular dusting keeps each shade clear and the diffusion quality intact.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes — Nava Decor covers the Bouclé Chandelier with a 1-year warranty, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years. We also offer 14-day returns if the piece doesn't suit your space.

Is it compatible with dimmer switches?

Dimming is available on request — configure it at checkout and we'll set up the E14 LEDs for a compatible wall dimmer. Standard E14 dimmable bulbs are also widely available if you prefer to source your own.

Can it be used with LED bulbs?

Yes — 15 E14 LED bulbs are included. The E14 base is a standard fitting, so when replacements are eventually needed, they're available at any hardware store.

What is the return policy?

14-day returns from delivery. The product must be in its original, undamaged condition and packaging. Contact us if anything isn't right on arrival — we'll resolve it quickly.

Is professional installation recommended?

Strongly — the Bouclé weighs 13.5 kg and requires a hardwired ceiling connection. A certified electrician ensures the fixture is correctly load-rated and safely wired, and can confirm the ceiling structure is suitable for the weight.

The included E14 LED bulbs are rated at 50,000+ hours. At six hours of daily use, each bulb lasts over 22 years — and because they're standard replaceable E14, any single bulb can be swapped individually when needed.
