Installation Guide

More setup than a single fixture, but still straightforward — choose your mount style, wire the power feed, then snap the light modules into place.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — four configurations: plaster-in (trimless), embedded (recessed), surface-mounted, or suspended (hanging); pick what matches your space and ceiling
  • Power — connects to a ceiling or wall junction box via an integrated power feed; some layouts use a remote or surface driver box
  • Fixtures — light modules snap magnetically into the track and can be repositioned without tools
  • Ceilings — works on flat or sloped ceilings
  • Dimming — many modules dim; always verify compatibility with your dimmer and power driver first

What you'll need

  • Drill and drill bits, screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper, wire nuts
  • Mounting anchors and screws, measuring tape, pencil, level
  • Optional: drywall saw (embedded installs), suspension cables and ceiling toggles (hanging systems)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — at your breaker panel, and confirm with a voltage tester at the junction box.
  2. Select your mounting type and prepare the surface — plaster-in requires cutting and framing the ceiling to embed the track flush, then finishing with joint compound; embedded requires cutting a slot and screwing the channel into joists; surface-mounted attaches directly with anchors and screws; suspended requires marking suspension points, installing ceiling toggles or anchor bolts, and attaching hanging wires, adjusted to your desired drop height.
  3. Connect the power feed — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure with wire nuts, tuck into the junction box, and secure the power feed cover.
  4. Join additional tracks, if your layout needs them — use magnetic or mechanical connectors, aligning the copper conductors inside the channels. Choose an I-Connector for straight runs, L-Connector (ceiling-to-ceiling) for 90° turns, L-Connector (ceiling-to-wall) for transitions, or T-Connector for three-way branches.
  5. Install the magnetic light modules — snap them into the powered channel; the magnetic system handles both the mechanical hold and the electrical contact. Modules can be repositioned or swapped anytime, tool-free.
  6. Restore power and test — check that all modules illuminate properly and that dimming or directional functions work as expected.

Good to know

  • Use only compatible magnetic fixtures and drivers as specified for your product.
  • For trimless and embedded systems, installation is easiest during construction or a remodel.
  • Secure all suspension cables and verify weight capacity for hanging mounts.
  • Avoid overtightening screws near trimless or recessed edges to keep the finish flush.
  • For complex layouts or multi-zone dimming, bring in an electrician or lighting specialist.

Held by magnet — moved by hand

Each light module snaps onto the track by magnet, taking both its hold and its power from the rail. Lift one off and set it down further along and the layout changes in seconds, no tools needed. The aluminium body draws heat away as it runs, so the fixture stays cool and the LEDs last.

Innovative engineering. Intelligent design.

Move it

Modules snap on by magnet and slide along the track, so you re-aim the light as the room changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are used in its construction?

The track and modules are built from aluminium with an acrylic lens. The aluminium gives it strength, resists corrosion, and draws heat away so the fixture runs cool over years of use.

Is it suitable for historical home interiors?

Yes. Its clean, modern line sits comfortably in an older room without competing with the architecture. For a tidy result in a period home, we'd suggest a professional fit it.

How does the energy-saving technology work?

It uses integrated LED modules that draw far less power than traditional bulbs for the light they give, so running costs stay low. Rated to 50,000 hours, they run for years before they need attention.

Can this light system be installed by a non-professional?

The track mounts to a ceiling junction box and the modules snap on by magnet, which is straightforward. Since the connection is hardwired, though, we recommend a licensed electrician for a safe fit.

How do I customize the lighting with the magnetic modules?

Once the track is powered, the modules attach by magnet and take their power from the rail. Lift one off and slide it along to re-aim the light or change the layout — no tools, anytime.

Is the lighting glare-free and anti-dazzling?

Yes. The modules are built with an anti-glare design, so the light reads as comfortable and even — easy to work or relax under without harsh dazzle in the eye.

Does it have a long lifespan?

Yes. The integrated LEDs are rated to around 50,000 hours — years of regular use — so the system gives steady light for a long time before anything needs replacing.

How does the heat dissipation work?

The aluminium body acts as a heat sink, drawing warmth away from the LEDs as they run. That keeps the fixture cool to the touch and helps the light source reach its full lifespan.

What voltage range does it support?

It runs on a wide 90–260V range, so it works with standard household electrical in most countries without a converter.

Is it resistant to corrosion?

Yes. The aluminium body resists corrosion and rust, so it holds its finish and keeps its clean line through years of indoor use.
