The Unkel mounts a rectangular wooden backplate to the ceiling and shines through acrylic diffuser panels beneath it. The wood grain is visible from below — natural, not veneered — so the fixture reads warm even when off. LED patches behind the acrylic spread a soft, even glow with no patches or shadows. Dimmable, in three sizes from a single panel to a wide double across kitchens or living rooms.
