The Schouwen holds a rectangular alabaster panel in a slim metal frame — brass or iron depending on the room. The LED sits behind the stone, so the glow comes through the alabaster rather than from it, warm and diffused along its entire face. Proportioned tall and narrow — 15 by 47 cm — it fits beside a door, along a corridor, or on an exterior wall without demanding too much space.
