The Orke holds a cylindrical alabaster shade on a slim brass frame, so the glow comes through the stone itself rather than off it. Alabaster doesn't shine — it radiates, turning the wall behind it warm and alive. The brass ring at the base grounds it, clean and solid. Eight watts, quietly doing what good light does.
