The Kilpis is cut from copper, brass, and aluminium into a minimal square plate — two versions: unidirectional, casting light down, or bidirectional, spreading it above and below. The warm copper finish develops a subtle patina over time. At 8 x 8 cm it takes up almost nothing on the wall, yet adds genuine texture to the surface it's on.
