The Benfeld is a cream-coloured glossy glass globe hung on a retractable spring cord. Pull it low over the table and the light pools around what's there; let it rise and the glow spreads further into the room. The acrylic-and-iron construction keeps it light in hand and resistant to heat and fade, finished in chrome or beige to match the surrounding palette.
