The Bailen suspends a drum of pleated silk from a minimal ceiling canopy, so the light passes through the material rather than around it — a warm, even glow without visible edges or shadows. The form is clean and Scandinavian; the effect is domestic in a way that metal or glass pendants rarely are. Two colours, three sizes, sloped-ceiling compatible, adjustable drop to 1.2m.
